Matt Ryan, nicknamed "Matty Ice," is a former American football quarterback who played 15 seasons in the NFL, primarily for the Atlanta Falcons. Drafted third overall in 2008, Ryan led the Falcons to Super Bowl LI in 2017, earning NFL MVP honors that same season. Known for his accuracy, intelligence, and leadership, he holds numerous Falcons franchise records and ranks among the NFL's all-time leaders in passing yards and touchdowns. After being traded to the Indianapolis Colts in 2022, Ryan announced his retirement in 2024 and transitioned into a broadcasting role.
