The Men's College World Series (MCWS) bracket is a double-elimination tournament format used to determine the national champion of college baseball. Eight teams, winners of their respective Super Regional series, are divided into two four-team brackets. Within each bracket, teams play until one remains undefeated and one has two losses. The winners of each bracket then face off in a best-of-three championship series to crown the overall champion. This unique structure ensures that teams have to consistently perform at a high level while offering a degree of forgiveness for early losses.
