Amy Coney Barrett is an American lawyer and jurist serving as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Nominated by President Donald Trump, she was confirmed by the Senate in October 2020. Prior to her Supreme Court appointment, she served as a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Barrett is known for her conservative judicial philosophy, originalist interpretation of the Constitution, and her devout Catholic faith.
