Richard Jefferson is a retired American professional basketball player who enjoyed a successful 17-year career in the NBA. Known for his athleticism, scoring ability, and veteran leadership, Jefferson played for several teams including the New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Denver Nuggets. He won an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in 2016 and was a key contributor to their Finals run. Following his playing career, Jefferson transitioned into broadcasting, working as an analyst for ESPN and other sports networks. He is now also a referee for the NBA.
