Atul Butte is a prominent figure in the field of biomedical informatics. He is a physician and scientist known for his work in using big data and artificial intelligence to improve healthcare. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute (BCHSI) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and holds professorships in Pediatrics and Epidemiology & Biostatistics.
