Ime Udoka is a Nigerian-American professional basketball coach and former player. He most recently served as the head coach of the Houston Rockets, a position he assumed in 2023. Prior to Houston, he was the head coach of the Boston Celtics, leading them to the NBA Finals in his first season (2021-2022). His coaching career also includes assistant coaching roles with the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, and Brooklyn Nets. As a player, Udoka had a seven-year NBA career, playing for teams including the Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, and Sacramento Kings.
